The album Phidylé, made by Kateřina Kněžíková with the Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava conducted by Robert Jindra, which received the BBC Music Magazine Award in April, has been shortlisted for Gramophone Awards 2022!
Gramophone revealed the 72 recordings that have been shortlisted for the Gramophone Classical Music Awards 2022 in a free-to-view digital magazine. You can read the full reviews of each of the albums in this special magazine. From this list of recordings an album will be chosen as the winner in each of the 11 recording categories, and from those a single album will be named Recording of the Year at the Gramophone Awards ceremony on October 4.
